IN0006: AI Engineer (Full-Stack)

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to work across product, engineering, and AI implementation. This is a hands-on build role for engineers early in their careers who want to ship real products, own them in production, and work directly with the founders.

You'll get exposure across the full stack, with room to go deep where you're strongest. We don't hire engineers to work through tickets someone else wrote. You own the problem end to end, from the client conversation to the spec to the release and whatever breaks after it.

That's real responsibility one year into a career, and we hand it over deliberately. What you get here is scope that engineers three years ahead of you are still waiting for. We expect effort that goes past the brief, and we notice when it does.

What You'll Do

• Sit in the client conversation, then write the spec
• Design the data model for workflows that are genuinely messy in real life
• Build it, frontend and backend
• Build the LLM pipelines that turn documents into structured data, and the validation that catches the model when it's wrong
• Wire up the integrations: accounting systems, statutory compliance, payments, messaging
• Write the tests, ship the release, watch it in production, fix what breaks
• Then take the next problem

What We're Looking For

Five things. We're not counting years:

• TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL: enough that you can build something without a tutorial open in the next tab
• Something you built and deployed. Send a link we can open
• A GitHub with real history: commits over weeks, not a repo created and abandoned in one afternoon
• LLM APIs in practice: prompts, structured outputs, and a real sense of why the model gets things wrong and what you do about it
• Clear writing. Most of our work happens in text. If you can't explain a decision in writing, this will be hard
• Non-negotiable: you must have already completed your graduation. If you're currently in your final year and yet to graduate, please don't apply for this role

Technical Background (Flexible)

Good to have, plus what the role asks of you day to day:

• Something you built that ran in production and that other people used
• Any ERP exposure, whether you built one, integrated with one, or worked around one
• An internship at a product company where you shipped to real users
• Comfort with Claude Code or Cursor, plus the judgement to know when the output is wrong
• Open source contributions
• Based in Hyderabad, working in-person, Monday to Friday
• Occasional travel to client sites

Compensation Structure

Rs 4,00,000 per annum. The first three months are a probation period; if performance meets expectations, you continue in the role on a permanent basis. Compensation is reviewed on confirmation, based on performance. Notice period: 45 days.
